DISEMINASI KERUKUNAN UMAT BERAGAMA MODEL PESANTREN MAHASISWA

Abstract


This paper tries to capture about the harmony of religious community dissemination model which is performed by Islamic boarding school “An Najah” for Students University that is motored by Kiai (Moslem Theological) and followed by santri (Islamic scholar). There were two dissemination ways that has done by An Najah, they are; academic and direct practice in laboratorium life. In academic way has done by review such as classical Islamic book (Kitab Kuning) as the general islamic boarding school characteristic, seminar, and dialogue with Moslem and non-moslem scholars. They are performed in adding knowledge, insight of santri and so their tolerance to face the diversity of opinions and beliefs of other religions. In addition through theoretical studies that has done in the discussion class of Pesma An Najah, santri are also introduced on diversity as well as harmony in living laboratory in the form of life skill training and community service involving the students and youth interfaith cooperation. This process of harmony dissemination has done regularly and incidentally so that routines can be maintained. Basic theoretical and practical studies carried out can open intelligent thought and open heart that was invested strongly in the Islamic boarding school tradition which is suitable with the prophetic value of education.
