This is caused by patriarchal culture that considers men are in hingher position than women. Islam itself wants equality between men and women, for example in political field. There are two verses in Al-Qur’an that instruct muslims to conduct deliberations, ie. (QS Al-Syura: 38 and QS Ali ‘Imran: 159). In 1998, Indonesian women began to have courage to express their opinions marked by the emergence of movements that speak of equality between men’s and women’s positions, particularly in political field such as the representation of women in goverment. Indonesia has accomodated the role of women in politics, as instructed in constitution law No. 2 of 2008 and constitution law No. 7 of 2017. However in reality it is inversely proportional, the women involvement in political field, especially as legislators, has not been carried out optimally. This research will discuss the role of women in building national politics by using historical analysis method, which is in analyzing the data based on the history that has happened.
Anifatul Kiftiyah ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2019-07-22 2019-07-22 14 1 1 13 10.24090/yinyang.v14i1.2859 Perlindungan Perempuan dalam Hukum Perkawinan di Indonesia http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/2825
The Indonesian Constitutional Court granted part of the claim for the judicial review lawsuit on Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage for Article 7 Paragraph 1 related to the age of marriage. The article is considered discriminatory against women and is considered legalizing child marriages because the lowest age limit for women can be married is 16 years old, different from the lowest age limit for men, 19 years old. The global consensus on the need to abolish early marriage, forced marriage, and child marriage is actually made and agreed upon by UN member countries, including Indonesia. There are a number of adverse effects that can arise in child marriage, such as impacts related to health, education and economic aspects, including violations of children's rights. This paper examines the age limit of marriage in the perspective of Islamic law, which can then become state policy. Marriage is a legal act that requires the doers to meet the criteria of legal competency. Marriage also requires the responsibility of the parties to fulfill their rights and obligations, so that the aspect of maturity in marriage is a must.
Bani Syarif Maula ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2019-07-23 2019-07-23 14 1 14 38 10.24090/yinyang.v14i1.2825 Kepemimpinan Perempuan dalam Pesantren http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/2874
This paper was made with the aim to find out how women's leadership in Islamic boarding schools organizations, and acceptance of them. In general, the founding of a boarding school has never been found where the caregivers are primarily women, even though they have more scientific capacity. Some Islamic boarding schools are cared for by women as limited successors. Islamic boarding schools are Islamic education institutions, the social construction of women in Islamic boarding schools is inseparable from the Islamic view of women. Not a few Islamic boarding schools whose daughter's activities are more advanced. Not a few managers of Islamic boarding schools where female carers' abilities are better. This paper is a descriptive analytical study of the phenomenon of women's leadership in Islamic boarding schools, with qualitative field studies. The results showed that women's leadership in Islamic boarding schools had the same chance of success, there were no substantive obstacles, because technically it could be covered by the Board of Directors, but female leaders in Islamic boarding schools were perceived as temporary and merely successors. The characteristics of women's leadership have a lot of relevance to the style of pesantren traditionalism, which is authoritative charismatic. The benefits of female leadership in Islamic boarding schools are to counter the Islamic stereotypical ideas about women.
Ahmad Yusuf Prasetiawan Safitri Lis ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2019-07-24 2019-07-24 14 1 39 69 10.24090/yinyang.v14i1.2874 Stunting pada Anak Usia 0-59 Bulan Di Posyadu Lestari, Desa Ciporos, Karangpucung, Cilacap http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/2858
This study aims to determine whether there is stunting that occurs in children under five (0-59 months) at the Posyandu Lestari and what efforts can be made to prevent the occurrence of the stunting. To build human resources for women, education is needed that upholds gender equality so that their rights to education can be realized. But inevitably, education in Indonesia in its history has experienced a dark period where women lacked rights in education. There was once a gender gap in the world of education in Indonesia. There are several factors that influence it, such as community culture and school structure systems that lack opportunities for women to take part. Therefore, gender-conscious education needs to be realized in order to address the gender issue. One effort to realize gender-oriented education can be by developing a gender-sensitive learning process approach through fostering and training teachers, principals, and education supervisors, as well as at the level of decision making in all national education management units.
Syaefudin Achmad ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2019-07-24 2019-07-24 14 1 70 91 10.24090/yinyang.v14i1.2843 Perilaku Agresif Siswa SMP http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/2845
This study is based on the phenomena that occur in the field that show symptoms of aggressive behavior in class VIII Pengadegan Middle School 3.
