The reality of poverty in rural women (border areas) today is still in severe situations. There has been no significance of the welfare development of the community, that in fact there are still many poor women's lives in the country boundary region. It is concluded that the community development program on the border is still loaded with interest and is vulnerable to being politicized by the elites, as a result the development of society is not up to the target. Method of research uses the feminist ethnographic approach as a stand point that research about women comes from a female's own perspective. The data collection techniques are observations, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and live-in with the community to obtain precise and accurate information. The poverty of women on the border is due to women's limited access to resources. Then, on this paper the empowerment-based vocational skills become a strategic bid in the poverty-alleviation of women at the border.
Nikodemus Niko ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/3229 Wed, 13 May 2020 02:29:29 +0000 Partisipasi politik buruh perempuan http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/3544
This study discusses the political participation of women workers in The Chemical, Energy and Mining Trade Unions of the All Indonesia Workers Union (SP KEP-SPSI). Using qualitative methods, this paper uses theories of women’s political participation, understanding sex and gender, and explaining socialist feminism as bases of analysis. This research tries to answer two issues namely how the involvement of women workers in the union in the SP KEP-SPSI and why the involvement of women in the union is important. The conclusion of this study is that the political participation of women workers in SP KEP-SPSI has not been actively involved enough in trade unions. Their membership is still very minimal with the indicator that there are only 4 female workers from 46 officials in the structure. However, SP KEP-SPSI has tried to facilitate the involvement of women workers with an indication of the inclusion of a clause on the involvement of women in the Statutes / Statutes of the Union. The involvement of women workers is important in unions, because it signifies a form of active political participation of citizens and is related to the struggle for the rights of women workers.
Suryani Suryani, Ana Sabhana Azmy ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/3544 Tue, 12 May 2020 12:22:38 +0000 Perbedaan perkembangan moral anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan pada usia Sekolah Dasar http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/3442
The moral development of elementary school children is all the thoughts, feelings, and actions that exist in the period of school harmony or intellectual time by showing some traits such as honest, fair, respectful, helpful as a reference in acting. The background of this research is the emergence of an understanding of some Islamic societies regarding the use of divorce rights in breaking a marriage bond. The assumption that divorce is the husband’s authoritarian right has resulted in the arbitrary treatment of the husband in bringing divorce to his wife. So that it is against gender equality and protection of women. This study aims to clarify about divorce in terms of the perspective of fiqh, gender and women’s protection. This research uses library research with a qualitative form. Data is collected through articles contained in journals, books and other library materials which are then narrated. The results found that divorce in the perspective of fiqh is regulated by verses of the Quran which implies that divorce cannot be used arbitrarily. Divorce in a gender perspective is interpreted as equal rights between a husband and wife in filing for divorce, such as khuluk and fasakh. While divorce in the perspective of protecting women can be known by analyzing the many verses of the Koran that give a signal relating to the protection of women in the case of divorce.
Hemnel Fitriawati, Zainuddin Zainuddin ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/3584 Wed, 13 May 2020 02:27:33 +0000 Ambiguitas tafsir feminis di Indonesia http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/3641
Interpretation is a major component in providing arguments about gender equality in Islam. Interpretation as an explanation of the Qur'an provides for everyone to form their religious behavior. For example the biased interpretation of surah al-Nisâ (4): 1 which explain about relationship between women and men. Some feminist reviewers in Indonesia respond to these interpretations which resulting in several trends. On the basis of this, this study aims to identify some of the trends generated by feminist reviewers in Indonesia by limiting a number of figures, namely M. Qurasih Shihab, Nasaruddin Umar, Husein Muhammad, Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir, Musdah Mulia, and Zaitunah Subhan by using Gadamer's hermeneutic method. This study found that there were two trends by the feminist reviewers. First, the tendency of interpretation which involves the discourse of the text to find the main idea (world view) of the text, so that the resulting interpretation has a moderate tendency. Second, the tendency of interpretation by involving the discourse of feminism to approach the text (verse), thus producing a new paradigm in the interpretation of misogynistic verses. This tendency is caused by the different set of knowledge used in interpreting the verse. projections of knowledge possessed produce tendencies in interpretation.
Mahbub Ghozali ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/3641 Tue, 12 May 2020 12:25:05 +0000 Sensitifitas gender dalam pembelajaran PAI berbasis nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural di SD al-Irsyad al-Islamiyah 01 Purwokerto http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/2871
This study aims to analyze the multiculturalism in Islamic Primary school (learning PAI at SD al-Irsyad al-Islamiyah 01 Purwokerto). Factors that come for example from the teacher, students, curriculum, and other social environments. But the most important factor comes from two figures, namely teachers and students, especially in learning activities. In the teaching and learning process, the teacher finds the diversity of individual students whose results can be seen many differences from one student to another student. Seeing the characteristics of each of these students, it is not uncommon for teachers to be exposed to students who have hyperactive behavior. The condition of such children is usually very difficult for teachers to manage and educate them, aside from the fact that they are very difficult to calm down, also because hyperactive children often interfere with other students. Examples of hyperactive student behavior, like to interrupt teachers or friends, difficult to follow the learning, always feel bored, annoying friends and others. Therefore, the learning achievement of hyperactive children is also classified as less than the maximum. The definition of hyperactivity itself is a person's behavior that shows an attitude of not wanting to be quiet, not paying attention and impulsive. But hyperactive children still have the right to gain knowledge. The existence of educational services through formal institutions such as in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, the efforts obtained include: teacher strategies and methods in the learning process, creativity development, talent development activities, the use of attractive media, rewards and punishment.
Reno Rezita Aprilia ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ejournal.iainpurwokerto.ac.id/index.php/yinyang/article/view/3307 Wed, 13 May 2020 02:28:35 +0000
